Description
A delicacy of the land. The Summer Truffle (Tuber Aestivum) is a traditionally selected, carefully processed and packaged product. It has its growing season from summer to early autumn.
Its colour is blackish brown and its flesh is compact. Unlike the black truffle, it is light-coloured on the inside and black on the outside, with large pyramidal warts.
Truffles can be prepared in a multitude of ways, including grilled truffles, with eggs, thinly sliced in salads, as well as their more universal use, Ideal with meats, pâtés and sauces.
